Kinfolk Studio’s public appointment booking application helps prospective and existing trade partners arrange video meetings with our team. Visitors can choose a meeting type and available time, tell us about their project, and receive an immediate confirmation with joining details.
How the service works
- Kinfolk Studio sets the meeting types and times that are available to book.
- The service checks the connected Kinfolk Studio Google Calendar for busy periods so unavailable times are not offered.
- When a booking is confirmed, the service creates a calendar event and requests a Google Meet link for the appointment.
- Confirmation, joining, cancellation and rescheduling details are sent by email.
Why the application requests Google data
The application connects to a Kinfolk Studio business Google Calendar so it can offer accurate availability and manage confirmed meetings. It requests permission to identify the connected Google account, check when the calendar is busy, create and remove appointment events, and generate Google Meet links.
Calendar access is used only for these appointment-booking features. The application does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling or artificial-intelligence model training.
Who connects a Google account?
Only authorised Kinfolk Studio team members connect their business calendar. A person booking a meeting does not sign in to Google or grant access to their own calendar.
